If Son could not beat Pure Boo, how did he figure he'd be able to beat Fat Boo? Fat Boo would not have gotten tired just like Pure Boo, and it seemed as if neither Fat nor Son were taken the fight as seriously as they could have. Could alive Son defeat Fat Boo? It Seems as if Son overestimated his ability to sustain Super Saiya-Jin 3 when fighting Pure Boo. What would stop him from doing the same against Fats? Could dead-body Son defeat Pure Boo; it seemed that, although, still fatigued, Son could sustain Super Saiya-Jin 3 better against Fats than against Pure Boo.

When Fats fought Pure, Son and Vegeta questioned why Fats was taking damage, and concluded that Boo is able to damage Boo. Do you think Pure Boo can tired out, and if not, who says that he cannot? |

Wait, never mind, I misread your original post. I thought you said Fat Buu can't tire out but Pure Buu can. Buu has infinite stamina, unless attacked by another Buu (for some reason) |

Goku couldn't beat BOTH Fat & Pure. In his Dead body, he might fight better. Thats about it Buu's have insane regeneration, able to learn/copy movesets, instantly recuperate from damages & unrivalled speed/strength/stamina Pure Buu especially has much violent, deadly fighting style driven by his aggresive & little-to-no understanding about "pain". Killing-machine in its purest form. |

Well considering Goku states that as a ss3 he had enough power to defeat Fat buu then we can assume he could generate a blast strong enough to completely eradicate buu. |

Goku's strongest Moveset is KHH (bar Genki Dama) To which Goku fired & Fat Buu regenerated like nothing Fat Buu is tough. No joke The guy was having "fun" fighting a guy in the caliber of Goku, while Goku used pretty much most of his power by 1. Transforming into SSJ3 & sustaining the form for quite some time 2. Exerting himself to go blow for blow, till using a muthaf**** GIANT Blast |

Goku was holding back the effort against Fat Boo. He flatout stated that he could've beaten him if he truly wanted to, but he instead chose not to just to give the others a chance. If Goku can completely obliterate Pure Boo with a fully powered ki blast, then he can do it to Fat Boo too. |

Chapter: 510 (DBZ 316), P13.1-6 Vegeta: “Don’t hesitate for my sake, and finish him off! With that Super Saiyan 3, you should be able to completely wipe out Boo with your ki once you gather it with all your might…!” Goku: “Ye…yeah…I’ve been thinking of doing that as well since awhile back, but…I haven’t gotten the chance.” Vegeta: “Eh?” Goku: “If I want to wipe him out, I gotta gather ki for about one minute.” Vegeta: “One minute?!” Goku: “Dammnit~~~If it was with the Potara, I could have done it in one blast. …..Cheh~~~I guess I went and showed off too much. But I thought things would go a little better than this…!” Vegeta: “…S …So you weren’t thinking of me…” Chapter: 513 (DBZ 319), P1.2 Context: after Goku drops out of Super Saiyan 3 Goku: “Da-dammit…When I was dead, it was no problem at all…It seems that in the end, becoming a Super Saiyan 3 with a living body eats up an excessive amount of ki…” Goku was perfectly capable of taking Pure Boo out with a charged ki attack. He just messed around too much and didn't expect SSJ3 to eat up so much ki when used in his living body. |

Actually, Vegeta was the one who stated that Goku could obliterate Pure Boo. Goku simply acknowledged it. Goku went and "showed off too much" as he stated himself and by the time he actually tried to gather his full power to obliterate Boo, he had already used up most of his stamina and he eventually couldn't maintain the ssj3 state. |

Goku's Kamehameha amp back in the Saiyan Saga was 2.22x, and that was regarded as bad by Piccolo in the Android Saga, so we can assume that the amp was even higher by that point. Goku could be half of Pure Boo's strength but still take him out with a full powered Kamehameha. SSJ3 Goku >~ Pure Boo > Fat Boo, as evidenced by their fights.

Please no amp-talk; as we can't even prove amp to be consistent, otherwise, a lot of fighters would not have had problems with some of their opponents. Also, we can't even say for certain that Raditz's readings on Son and Piccolo were accurate fighting power readings, as Nappa reads Tenshinhan and Yamcha as under 1220 and yet both were capable of fighting Saibamen handily. Move tech amp discussion to another topic. No offense.

They weren't accurate, that was the point of scouters really. They're inherently unreliable since they can be easily fooled by powering up, charging an attack or hiding energy.
